The County Maintenance Department develops work schedules,
directs, implements and inspects daily work routine of custodial services and
courthouse property maintenance and upkeep. They are responsible
for the maintenance of inventory of custodial supplies, and keeps and prepares
other records and reports as directed.
The Maintenance Department assists in planning procedures and
work methods and advises or recommends revision for the purpose of improving the
efficiency of operations and services of county facilities.
They perform custodial duties as required and confer with
supervisors and other department heads or office holders and receive written and
oral instructions concerning general custodial duties. The Monroe
County Maintenance Department maintains the Monroe County Courthouse located in
the center of the historical town square and the Monroe County Community Service
Building located at 1801 South B St., Albia, Iowa. |
